We've spent over a decade building production software and SaaS platforms across telecom, finance, and retail — from designing secure architectures to shipping features under pressure.

Along the way, we embedded shift-left security practices, coached engineering teams in DevSecOps, and led digital transformation initiatives at some of the UK's largest organisations.

That experience gave us a clear view of what it takes to build software that actually works at scale — and what happens when security is treated as an afterthought.

Now we're using everything we've learned to help non-technical founders build, launch, and scale secure SaaS products — whether they're building with AI tools or working with our team of UK-based engineers.

The Pivot

How a WhatsApp message changed everything

When we joined the Cooper Project at Sheffield Technology Parks, we were looking to grow our consultancy and refine an early idea for a product. Within months, a new connection within the Tech Parks community would help us pivot, creating a clear focus for the business.

We met Craig Blaauw, founder of 4eyez, designer and manufacturer of Taxi CCTV® systems. Craig had developed a new platform to support his growing customer base — a CRM system built using vibe coding. Before rolling it out to users, he needed specialist support.

Craig posted a message in the Sheffield Technology Parks community WhatsApp group asking if anyone could help. It was just the type of thing we can do.

Over the following weeks, we worked closely with Craig to review and rebuild the platform — addressing bugs, strengthening security and ensuring it was scalable enough to support the future growth of the 4eyez business.

Through working on the platform and supporting Craig's evolving needs, we saw a wider challenge faced by many startups and growing businesses. While consultancy support can help fix bugs or improve systems, it often isn't a sustainable solution for early-stage companies — often with non-technical founders — that need to build, test and adapt secure digital products quickly and iteratively.

The experience prompted us to rethink our own focus and begin developing a new product aimed at solving this challenge.
